Born and still living in the UK, I'm happily plodding through life doing what I enjoy best of all....making art!

Over the years, I've developed a style that is as colourful as it is diverse and I make no excuses for my taste.  I've worked with a number of different mediums but acrylics are my medium of choice.  My current obsession is a wacom tablet and pen with which I create digital portraits of pets, people and other subjects, but it still doesn't beat a real canvas and paint.

I don't ever remember a time that I didn't draw.  I literally grew up with a pencil in my hand and a list of 'must do's' in my head.  Most of them were forgotten or got replaced with more important things but my art has always been an important part of my life.  I've never really understood the rules of painting though, I just choose my colours & subjects because I like them and consider each completed painting a happy accident! 

Overall, I'm very content with what I do and I feel privileged that I can make people happy simply by doing what I enjoy the most - how many people can say that?

To me, that's the best gift of all!
