The Boring Bits...
I was born, and still live in the UK, and, incredulous as it may seem to some, I've never ventured abroad - and probably never will.
I have a deep fear of flying.
I love driving.
I hate travelling as a passenger on any kind of transport - except trains?
I adore English bull terriers - can you tell?
Forget Picasso...my favourite artist is Beryl Cook.
I refuse to kill spiders even though they scare me to death.
I love chocolate and butter beans, but not in the same mouthful..
I don't like crowds.
I will keep adding to this list as I think of things, so come back soon....!
About The Art
When I was at school, my art tutor wanted me to go to college to study design. I refused, and now I just paint what I want, when I want and with what I want, be it paint, pencil or digital pen. I don't regret my decision for a second.
I work in various styles depending on how I feel, or because I'm requested to use a particular style.
My favourite subject to paint is my bull terrier - as if you didn't know!
Doing commissions is my idea of hell unless I get my own way, which is totally unfair.
I've never painted with oil paints because I get migraines.
I love folk art or 'naive art' as it's called in the UK - I exhibited my art once with ABNA (Association of british Naive Artists)
I also exhibited with the UKCPS (UK Coloured Pencil Society) twice.
I have work in quite a few places across the globe now which amazes me still!
